Samsung plans to release a further three lenses a year for this new hybrid system . Samsung NX10 features The NX10 competes directly with Micro Four - Thirds cameras from Panasonic and Olympus , but it has an ace up its sleeve to nudge it ahead of its rivals : a full - size APS - C chip which measures 28.4mm diagonally - compared to the smaller sensors of Micro Four - Thirds cameras . Which ? digital camera expert Richard Parris says : ' With an image sensor as large as you'd find in a quality DSLR , this camera has the potential to deliver great shots despite its compact frame . ' Samsung's new system could prove a real challenge to Panasonic and Olympus's micro - four - thirds system , as consumers look for great photo quality from smaller , lighter camera bodies . ' Samsung claims a battery life of 400 shots per charge , a maximum ISO of 3200 , 3fps ( frames per second ) shooting and 720p HD video recording at 30fps . The NX10 is set to feature an electronic viewfinder with VGA resolution , a 3 - inch AMOLED display and a built - in pop - up flash . Which ?
