No Nonsense RESTful Web Services in ColdFusion, with Taffy
This is a presentation I gave at cfObjective 2011. Taffy is a framework I wrote for creating REST web services in ColdFusion. In the presentation I cover REST 101 briefly, before showing you other REST frameworks for ColdFusion and why I created my own, and then how to use Taffy.

Pragmatic Version Control Using Git
As more time passes, people are starting to realize that Distributed Version Control Systems (DVCS) are not a fad and are not going to fade into obscurity. Instead they offer incredible freedom and flexibility, and because of that, they are seeing more adoption every day. In this presentation, I will explain the differences -- both technical and mental -- between Centralized VCS and DVCS, and demo Git, one of the more popular DVCS implementations that exists today. Git is fast, friendly, and feature-rich, but if you've been using SVN or CVS for very long it can be a significant shift in thought. Once you go Git, you'll never want to go back. And the awesome part is that you don't have to: Git can be your new SVN client!
