Web designers and developers can easily adapt their skills to create styled and graphic-rich HTML emails for clients, but there are many key differences between webpages and email. Avoid the common pitfalls with a primer on best practices for coding HTML email. This presentation primarily covers coding and HTML/CSS support but also includes discussion of design conventions, testing and deliverability issues.

CSS frameworks allow developers to quickly prototype table-less CSS layouts using pre-made solutions to common problems. This presentation reviews some of the major CSS frameworks and how they can be used to save time and effort in the website development workflow. The discussion will touch on grid design with 960gs, table-less forms with Formy and resetting browser default CSS with YUI, among other topics.
